Another great feature of this engine is the cheapness with which it can be ran, so far-is of fuel is concerned. Mr. Clayton says, that he uses about one cord of wood three weeks constant use. After looking through the engine room, Mr. Ephraim Clayton, who was kindly showing us the works, took us to the shops where the machinery was, and At' Wobk the Coming At a meeting of the- Executive Committee of the W.

Mr. Trull calls our attention to the ar ticle recently published in the Citizen in which it was stated that Mr. Trull in his speech at Brevard, exculpated the democratic party and Mr. Kitchen for the difficulty at Hendersonville, and took the responsibility of it upon him-himself, as placing him in a wrong light as to the matter. Mr.

Trull says he did and does exculpate Mr. Kitchen and the democratic party, and that Mr. Kitchen also stated in his speeches that Trull said nothing in his Hendersonville speech that any one had a right to take offence at; but he, Trull, did not assume the responsibility of the difficulty between Mr. Bryson and himself. The Citizen only intended to state that the difficulty, "from whatever cause, was strictly a personal one, and did not per tain to anything which occurred in Mr.

Trull's public speech, nor had the democratic party or Mr. Kitchen anything to do with it, or any sympathy with it. Grate Wixe fob Communion and Inva lids.
