8 The Ashevllle Cltlien, Monday, Jan. 1982 Police Continue Search For Robber Western North Carolina Deaths And Funerals Police Reports Anna Rosner Services for Anna G. Rosner, 89, of 154 Beaverdam Road, who died Friday, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Groce Fuepral Home. The Rev.

Preston E. Wagner will officiate. Burial will be in Green Hills Cemetery. A former resident of Detroit, she had lived in Asheville for 25 years. She was the wife of Andrew Rosner, who died in 1972, and was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church and the Ladies Aid Society.

Surviving are two daughters, Helen Rosner of Asheville and Olga Mittelstadt of St. Louis, three grandchilden and two great-grandchildren. The family. will receive friends from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Thomas Lenoir WAYNESVILLE Thomas Lenoir of 609 First St. died Sunday after a long illness. Jesse Ray Funeral Home, Asheville, is in charge of arrangements. Sherwood Snyder FRANKLIN Sherwood Snyder of the Watauga community died Saturday at his residence.

A native of Binghamton, N.Y., he was a veteran of World War II. He was a son of the late Sherwood and Donna McKenzie Snyder. Surviving are his wife, Patricia Killan Snyder; a daughter, Pamela Williams of Kirkland, a son, Sherwood R. Snyder of Round Hill, a sister, Shirley Wagner of Dayton, Ohio; a brother, Stuart Snyder of Dayton; and five grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m.

Tuesday in the Franklin Presbyterian Church, of which he was a member. The Rev. Ron Odum will officiate. Burial will be later. Memorials may be made to Macon County EMS.

Bryant Funeral Home is in charge. An investigation continued Sunday into the armed robbery Saturday night of the Plaza Theater on Pack Square, according to the Asheville Police Department. At about 10 p.m. Saturday, a man carrying a small-caliber automatic handgun entered the theater and robbed four employees while they were counting the days receipts in the office, police reports said. The robber was wearing a stocking over his head as a mask, reports said.

After the man had taken the money, he had the employees bind themselves with tape he had brought with him. The employees were put into a broom closet and told to stay there, reports said. The robber left on foot with approximately $4,500, reports said. He was last seen running down North Lexington Avenue. Police officers searched the streets and bars around Pack Square Saturday night, but no arrests were made.

There were no injuries in the incident. The robber was described as a white male in his early 20s, 5 feet 10 Inches to 6-feet tall, with blond hair and moustache and possibly a beard. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a maroon jacket. Cruiser In Accident A Buncombe County Sheriffs Department cruiser was involved in a minor accident Sunday night in Bilt-more, according to the Asheville Police Department. The accident occurred at 6:05 p.m.

Annie Walton Annie Hawkins Walton, 81, formerly of 107 West Asheville, died Sunday in an Asheville nursing home after an extended illness. A native of Buncombe County and a daughter of the late Elijah and Fairy Hill Wright, she was the wife of the late Anderson Williams. (AP) The second of two children burned when the truck they were in was left unattended last month has died at Maricopa County Hospital. He had been a member of the UNC faculty since 1968 and served on several university and professional comittees. Gelblum was born in Aberdeen, S.D., and grew up in Wallingford, Conn. After graduating from Wesleyan University in 1943 and from Harvard Law School in 1948, he held several legal and executive positions in private industry before joining the UNC law faculty. School Board Meeting The Buncombe County Board of Education will hold a special work session at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the library of the Buncombe County Audio-Visual and Library Center on Hendersonville Road.

Miss Harrold graduated from the Women's College in Greensboro and was a member of the Dorcas Bell Chapter DAR, Waynesville Women's Club, National Retired Teachers Association, AARP, Magna Carte Dames, and Lords of Maryland Manors First Family of Virginia. She was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Waynesville. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs.

Survivors include his wife, Naomi Griffin Stepp; a daughter, Aileen Detp-weiler of Waynesville; three brothers, Reuben Stepp of Wayneville, Neil and Henry Stepp of Canton; and two sisters, Lorena Hampton of Oregon State and Athia Lee of Cherokee; and a grandchild.
