By DAHUEEN GLANTON CWsea Staff Writer After a series of reviews by the Western North Carolina Health Systems Agency, the agency's Project Review Committee Wednesday gave the final approval on an expansion project at Memorial Mission Hospital. The project, which originally included construction of bulled-in space on the top three floors of the proposed patient room tower and an additional SO beds, was approved in its entirety by the committee in September, despite opposition of the hulled- resubmitted to the Project Review Committee for another review. In an effort to eliminate any unnecessary delay of the project, the governing body approved the revised project, contingent on a favorable recommendation by the Project Review Committee during Wednesdays meeting. The original project was expected to cost 118 8 million, but the cost has been reduced by about II. 200,000 by eliminating the hulled in space and reducing the bed plan.
