Cecil Atkins Pless of Asheville. Miss Gordon teaches in the Winston-Salem City Schools. Mr. Pless will be graduated in June from the University of North Carolina Dental School. and Mrs. G. Gordon of Montreat Memphis, became the bride of Alvin Jackson McCormack, son of the Rev. and Mrs. Hudson Paul McCormack of Sparta, Friday in Gaither Chapel here.

The Rev. Mr. McCormack, minister of White County Parish, Sparta, father of the bride-groom, performed the double ring ceremony. Wedding music was presented by Miss Margaret Leech of Troutville, a senior classmate of the bride at Montreat College. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a dress of Chantilly lace and tulle with a finger tip veil of illusion attached to a cap of Chantilly lace.

She carried a white Bible topped with white pink-throated cymbidium orchid. mate of was maid of Miss Margaret, Barrett, classhonor, wearing pink taffeta fashioned with full skirt and a nylon shoulder drape. She carried a white and pink snapdragon crescent bouquet. The bridesmaids, Miss Paula Marie McCormack of Memphis and Miss Elsie Maud McCormack of Sparta, sisters of the bridegroom, Miss Peggy Meeks and Miss Judith Grant of Montreat, sisters the bride, wore identical gowns pink and carried cresof cent bouquets of pink and white snapdragons. Gordon Meeks brother of the bride, was ringbearer.

Harris Porter of Knoxville, was best man. Ushers were Bill Alexander of Greeneville, Charles Brotherton of Bulls Gap, Luke McCormack of Sparta, bridegroom's brother and George Grant of Montreat, the bride's brother. The couple will live in Louisville, where the bridegroom will be a student in Louisville Presbyterian Seminary. He served as student pastor in the Green County Parish Liberty Presbyterian church during the past year. For traveling Mrs.

McCormack wore an outfit of navy blue linen with white and navy accessories. MISS MARY ELLEN GASTON, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Gaston of Asheville, who her engagement to R. H.

Garden Club, Auxiliary Plan Annual Plant Sale The French Broad Garden Club and the auxiliary of All Souls Episcopal Church will sponsor the annual plant and food sale to be held in the parish house Thursday. June 2 from 10:30 until 2:30 p. m. Lunch will be served from 12:30 until 2 p. m.

Fred Gray as chairman. Trinity Auxiliary Meets Tomorrow The Woman's Auxiliary of Trinity Episcopal Church will meet tomorrow at 11 a. m. in the parish hall. Miss Jean Webster, director of religious education at the church, will speak on youth work in the parish.
