MRS: W. H. RICH IS TAKEN BY DEATH AT ELBERTON, GA. WAYNBSVILLE. May 2. (Special-Word was received by relatives here today of the death of Mrs, W. H. Rich, wife of the Rev. W. H. Rich, pastor of the First Baptist church of Elberton, Ga., who possed away early this morn-InR at her home in Elberton after an Illness of a few days, Mrs. Rich was the daughter of the late Humphrey Posejr Haynes, a prominent citizen of Clyde, Haywood county. She Is survived bv her husband, who is a native of Haywood county; two daughters. Flora and Willie Thornton; one son. John, all of Elber ton; Issued a statement in which he said he Is "well pleased with reports from the district, which Indicate that his campaign for renominatlon Is progressing better than It has ever before." Although not completely recovered from his recent illness, Major Bui-winkle apparently is gaining in strength. He visit his office dally. Miami, Flft., Mrs. George W. -"Brooks, of Canton, Mrs. John D. Wood, of Oroer, S. C, and Mra, ! B. White, of Live Oak, Flft.. and three brothers, James H.. Frank E., and Grover C. Havnes. all of Clyde. The funeral services and burial will be In Elberton. Sixty thousand children will attend a military show In Aldershot, Eng- four sisters, Mra. Etta Shook, of" land.
